Fee Schedule

•Standard 45-50 minute session: $120

•Initial Evaluation (1 hr):             $150

•80-90 minute visit:                    $165

Dr. Abel accepts cash, checks, VISA, Discover, and Mastercard, including HSA debit cards. Payment is expected at the time of service. However, if you have a VISA or Mastercard, she will gladly work out an interest free payment plan in which you can pay with cash, check, or charge at a monthly rate you can afford.

Insurance:

Dr. Abel accepts all insurance, but she is considered “Out of Network” for most plans.  Please feel free to call her billing manager Doris Bender (636-587-2712) with any questions.

If Dr. Abel isn’t in your network plan, you likely have “Out of Network Benefits” which will cover services, but usually at a lower benefit than if you choose someone “In Network”*  Call Doris at 636-587-2712 or contact the mental health number usually listed on your card. Please note that Doris will have to call your mental health carrier, so for quicker answers call them directly.

Doris will submit claims to your insurance company to save you the hassle.

*IF you have significant problems with anxiety and want to see someone “In Network” and do not have a plan that I accept, please make sure that you see someone who has expertise in treating anxiety and not just someone who says they treat anxiety. You might be able to see someone at less than half the price, but you might end up seeing them more than twice as many times, take more than twice as long, and still not have received the help you want.
